Marc Becker, Head Coach

ironguides Head Coach and founder Marc Becker's athletic career began in 1988 as the youngest competitor at Ironman Canada. Marc combined his professional triathlon career with a full-time career spanning Canada, France and England.

Marc founded ironguides in 1999 with the aim of making simple, effective training methods available to accomplished and new triathletes. Now  a full-time coach, Marc brings an in-depth, first-hand experience of what it means to balance the needs of "real life" responsibilities with the uncompromising demands of athletic performance.

His experiences and working with some of the best coaches in the world provided the foundation for The Method, ironguides' unique coaching approach.  Marc has been a certified Triathlon Canada triathlon coach since 1992.
