Better sex with the Method? Read this!!!



Oooh la la as the saying goes...we get a lot of grateful emails from our athletes, but some are so great to hear they warrant sharing with everyone.

There's a lot about triathlon the way it's practised today that makes all of us at ironguides roll our eyes and wring our hands for the well-being, happiness and general health of our fellow multisport athletes. In fact, some of the ridiculous approaches such as long slow distance, high volume, "glory above all", and the generally random, smash-myself systems followed by many in our sport keep us in business and make it simple and straight-forward for us to create great results in our athletes.

We see a lot of great results and hear about them regularly, but recently we received a letter from one of our athletes that really captures the essence of how the simple, effective and well thought-out training we call The Method can improve not only your results, but also your sleep, nutrition, mood, efficiency, relationships and yes -- even your sex life!

Here's what FJ in Mexico had to say about training with The Method -- he is coached by Certified ironguides Method Coach Alun Woodward:

I would like to share with you now that you ask about the quality of my sleep: Not just my sleep has gotten more quality but almost every part of my life, now I sleep better, I eat better and enjoy food more, my mental sharpness has become like when I was younger, I'm way more agile and stronger -- even sex has become more enjoyable. My work has also become more enjoyable and I have become more productive as I have more energy throughout the day!!
When I was doing just endurance training I was always tired, even if I was resting 1 or 2 full days a week. Now I haven't missed a day of training for over 3 weeks even while I have traveled (driving) more than 3000 kilometers -- that is almost 2000 miles -- not sleeping in my own bed, and as I´m writing this I feel very energetic and it is over 9:30 pm but I know that when I hit my bed I´ll be asleep in no time, with a waking up time at 5:45 every week day!!!!

Of course I have some aches and pains but of a good nature, the kind that you have when you know that you had a great workout and that you will improve as a result of these aches and pains!!!!
The weight has been coming off at a rate of .500 to .750 kilograms per week and I haven't been home much and have been eating out a lot. This 2 or 3 next weeks I'll be staying home so I'll be more careful with what I eat so I'll be more successful. Also I have to note that I have been bulking up in my upper body so the fat net loss must be higher as I'm already starting to see some abdominal muscles through my still large layer of fat!!!
