From Ironman 70.3 Geelong to Valentine's runs
ironguides athletes raced at Australia’s Ironman 70.3 Geelong this weekend where Ironman World Champion Craig Alexander won and Switzerland’s Caroline Steffen secured victory in the women’s race.

ironguides athletes Paul Duffy and Neil Franks are both from England, and are now both based in Singapore. Paul and Neil each used Ironman 70.3 Geelong as a stepping stone for Ironman China.
Neil had a PB swim split, followed by a solid bike and run performance to finish in 5hrs 26mins. With that result he secured himself a slot for Clearwater World Championships.
Duffy crossed the finish in 5hrs 5mins and is looking forward to repeat his performance in China 2009 when he qualified for Kona!
ironguides athlete Renne Richards ran the 1st Oshkosh Valentine’s 5km, displaying a brave effort in freezing conditions.
