Superb results & fun at Ironman Brazil



ironguides coaches Vinnie Santana and Rodrigo Tosta had a super fun weekend at Ironman Brazil, as did all the ironguides athletes who posted great results and PBs.

For five of the nine ironguides athletes who finished Ironman Brazil it was their first Ironman race, a tremendous achievement. And the other four ironguides athletes all improved on their previous best Ironman times and we are talking big PBs!

Here are the results:

Among the first timers, Cathryn Gries F45-49 finished in 12:55:30, Luis Toledo M25-29 crossed the line in 13:16:00, Guilherme Freire M25-29 came home in 13:20:12,  Luciano Hee M45-49 took 14:10:13 and Marcelo Vervloet M35-39 finished in 11:11:30

Among those who improved their previous best Ironman times were Vagner Bessa M40-44 who set a 58-minute PB with 11:48:28.

Frederico Ludolf Gomes M35-39 improved his best time by 45 minutes to cross the finish in 9:49:32.

Marcelo Penna M35-39 even managed to shave an hour and five minutes off his best time by coming home in 9:43:32.

And last but not least, Bruno Goes M30-34 swam a 15-minute PB to cross the line in 9:40:33.
