At Ironman 70.3 Brasil, Luiz Topan finished in a super-shift 4hr07. That time, which included a 1hr21 run split, allowed him to claim the win in the M40-44 division. It was a great preparation race for Ironman Cozumel, then onwards to Kona 2011 where hs is aiming to improve upon his stellar podium finish (4th) in Kona 2009
Also in Brazil, Thor Quindere did his first first 70.3 race, crossing the line in 7hr30. This was a preparation race for Ironman Brasil 2011. Thor has diabetes type 1, an extra challenge because he has to monitor his blood glucose levels and inject himself with insulin while racing.

At XTERRA Japan, Adam York finished 10th overall and 3rd in the M35-39 division. That's a fantastic start to his time with ironguides, using our recovery specialities to great effect finishing this race just 6 days after a long hot half ironman event.
In the U.S Brenda Mcgovern did the Rocketman Olympic tri in Alabama in 3hr10. She earned 2nd in her age group and 42nd overall female. Brenda really beat her demons here with a great swim in the river, after a DNF last year! She did a greaa race overall, with much more to come at nationals!
