ironguides athletes competed in a variety of races, with great results. One result we'd like to highlight is Felix Jaber who stood on top of the podium at Triathlon Isla De Tris in Mexico. In Thailand, ironguides athletes raced at the BKK Duathlon Dash (5km/20km/5km), another great race in the BKK Dash series at the Bang Po golf course.

Kathrin Puff earned 2nd overall Female with a 1hr 21 finish.
Rich Ferre was 7th overall with a 5km PB on the opening leg in 20:38.
Julin Oapirat was 8th overall with the fourth-fastest bike split of the day.

ironguides athletes also competed at the Time Trial - Thailand National Championship. This 16km road race was held as Thailand enjoyed the Visakha Bucha day, a Buddhist national holiday. The race venue was only a 40-minute from Bangkok and Thailand's top riders were racing for the national title.

Julin Oapirat did 24:43, securing 3rd place in the M40-49 division.
Rich Ferre rode 24:55, earning 4th place in the M40-49 age group.
Stephane DeBaets finished his first time-trial event in 27:05.
Chris Puranasamriddhi did a 10-minute PB from last year's event, riding 28:08.
Farn Sritrairatana crossed the line in 29:10 in his debut time trial race.
Debby Ferre, who also did her first time trial, rode 31:22.

Over in Europe, Andy Brodiziak did Mallorca Ironman 70.3 in 4hr 44, placing 29th in the M30-34 age group with a new swim PB of 28:09.

Also in Mallorca, Alistair McVeigh finished 31st in the M35-39 division with a 4hr 49. A great start to the season for Alistair with an especially strong run time. It's a good stepping stone towards the Frankfurt Ironman.

Felix won the M45-49 age group at the Triathlon Isla De Tris in Mexico. Two years with ironguides and he's still getting faster and faster week after week.

Renne Richards earned 3rd overall and won the F35-39 division in the Knoxville REC 3 Half, crossing the line in 5hr 23. After training indoors through the freezing winter in Oshkosh until just a week before the race, she did an amazing race. It's great to see another huge step forward this year after some very hard and dedicated training.

Richard Allen secured 2nd place in the M50-54 division at the Eton Supersprints in the UK. One week away from GBR qualification race for the Worlds team, Richard has come from his huge PB at Ironman Florida last November and developed great speed to now be competitive over the short distances. He's truly a versatile athlete who is enjoying the variety provided by ironguides training.
