Port Dickson Triathlon, Malaysia

Bernard Sechuad: 2:16. Recently back from Ironman Switzerland, Bernard jumped into this as a fun day out and still pulled out a solid race. He was getting warmed up and starting to feel good just as he was running down the finishers' chute. I guess that’s what happens when Ironman jump into Olympic distance races.

Davin Leong: 2:20. This was Davin’s first triathlon since starting on The ironguides Method. Good to see him riding stronger, and running steady off the bike. I was happy with this performance although he’ll beg to differ. Davin is always looking for ways to get faster.

Paul Comerford: 2:28. Handsome Paul managed to sneak away from his usual weekend engagements to race. He did really well and this is a big confidence builder for him as he gets prepared for the longer stuff in the second half of 2011 - after he gets back from heli-skiiing of course.

Saul Alvarez: 2:38. I am glad that Saul opened his bike box and put together his bike in time to join us in Port Dickson. He’s just keeping the engine warm during his recovery from Ironman Switzerland. Made me proud to see him cruise through this without a hitch.

OSIM Triathlon

Sarah Tan: 3:00. That earned her 3rd in her age group. An encouraging race for Sarah as she comes back from injury. Consistent training with a gradual, calculated increase in load has helped Sarah strengthen the muscular imbalances that plagued her earlier in the year. Doing a little bit every day is paying off nicely.

Ben Trotman: 2:38 Great race for this young Briton who could hardly swim 50m at the start of the year. Ben has worked hard and it's starting to show! His first Olympic distance - a success for sure!

Trifactor Triathlon

Ben Trotman: 2:34 A 4-minute PB in 2 weeks - well done! Great to see Ben enjoying his newfound fitness. Watch this space as Ben has already committed to Phuket 70.3 at the end of the year and and a full Ironman in 2012. Talk about jumping in the deep end.

Enjoy your training!
