One of the bitter-sweet contradictions of triathlon is that while it enables us to quickly build a healthy, outdoor lifestyle around a balanced set of activities in three complementary activities, it also exposes us to three different universes of potential injury. A well-balanced training regime uses each sport to build overall performance without overdoing it in any one component.
